We are currently recruiting for a Trades Assistant to join our Maintenance Department Team.

The position is full time, Monday to Friday (40 hours / week), on day shift, with optional overtime on Saturdays where available.

The Trades Assistant position is employed under the Beef City Maintenance EBA, considering classification of payment and conditions of employment. 

Rate of pay is $1104.11 / week (day shift )

Responsibilities:

• Follow safe work practices and procedures;
• Assist Tradesmen where required in their daily tasks throughout the plant.
• Ensure the Maintenance shed and its surrounds are kept in a clean and operational state.
• Assorted small maintenance/handyman tasks as directed.
• Other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Team.
