Sanitation Manager

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sanitation Manager to join our Dinmore processing facility in a newly created position. Reporting to the FSQA Manager, this role leads a large night‑shift sanitation team and plays a critical role in ensuring our site meets all hygiene, food safety and regulatory requirements.

As our Sanitation Manager, you will lead the overnight cleaning operation to deliver verified, compliant hygiene outcomes across slaughter, boning, further processing and packaging areas. This includes meeting Australian Standards and internal food safety requirements.

You will have two direct reports and overall responsibility for planning and overseeing the wider sanitation team. Key aspects of the role include implementing safe isolation practices (LOTO), ensuring correct and safe chemical use, completing pre‑operational verification, and confirming all equipment is returned to production in a clean, sanitary and safe condition.

About You

• Sound knowledge of cleaning and sanitising methods, including heat, chlorine‑based products, alcohol and commercial sanitisers
• Strong understanding of hygiene standards and pre‑operational verification within meat processing environments
• Practical experience applying LOTO procedures during equipment cleaning and dismantling
• Proven leadership capability, including team supervision, shift planning and maintaining accurate documentation
