Qualified Chef

About the Role

JBS Dinmore are currently recruiting a passionate trade qualified Chef to join our busy cafeteria team. Reporting to the Catering Manager, this role is part of a fast-paced, customer-focused team, preparing and serving hundreds of meals across five operational days per week.

As a Trade Qualified Chef, you will support the Catering Manager and wider team with day-to-day kitchen operations, including:

• Food preparation and service delivery
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and compliance
• Assisting with menu preparation and daily meal planning
• Stock rotation, ordering support and basic cost control
• Supporting kitchen organisation and cleanliness
• Assisting with upkeep of kitchen equipment and facilities

This role requires availability for morning shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional additional shifts as required.

About You

• Trade qualified Chef (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including early starts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Reliable, adaptable and hands-on approach
• Ability to work under pressure and meet service timeframes
• High level of personal presentation and cleanliness
• Basic understanding of portion control and stock rotation
