The JBS Dinmore Processing Plant is the largest beef facility in the southern hemisphere. Located near Ipswich, in south east Queensland, the facility has a daily production ability of 3,400 cattle and employs approximately 1,500 people. Cattle are sourced from the finest cattle producing regions to produce a diverse range of pasture fed and grain beef products, from commodity to premium. About the Role

JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Reliability Manager, the Maintenance Planner will play an integral role in ensuring our ongoing success across the plant by supporting our high-performance Maintenance Team.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning of electrical, mechanical and other PM and corrective maintenance to positively engage the maintenance workforce
  • Engaging and liaising with external vendors and contractors to perform planned maintenance activities
  • Working closely with the site engineers and supervisors to develop annual budgets and cashflow forecasts
  • Working with the Reliability Manager to identify opportunities to optimize equipment reliability and uptime
  • Developing and improving equipment maintenance strategies
  • Actively participating in the improvement of site SAP PM master data
  • Planning and scheduling annual shutdown works

 

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar planning role advantageous
  • Electrical / Mechanical qualifications highly regarded
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S regulations
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance planning processes and procedures using SAP
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a greater team
  • Effective problem-solving capability
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Shutdown planning experience highly regarded
