We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Cold Stores Export Supervisor (PM Shift) to join our Brooklyn Plant. This role is responsible for leading and supervising export operations within Cold Stores, ensuring efficient coordination of product from inventory through to dispatch.

Reporting to the Cold Stores Manager, you will play a key role in delivering operational targets, maintaining compliance with export requirements, and driving performance across the PM shift team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supervising Cold Stores and dispatch team members on shift to achieve productivity, safety, and quality outcomes
  • Managing and coordinating export dispatch operations from order planning through to shipment from cold storage
  • Ensuring all products are available, compliant, and fit for loading prior to dispatch
  • Coordinating export orders based on product availability, operational priorities, and shipment schedules
  • Liaising with production, operations, inventory teams, and external logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with export and regulatory requirements (e.g. EU, Halal, BSE and customer-specific standards
  • Maintaining food safety, quality assurance, and cold chain standards across all operations
  • Managing inventory accuracy, system transactions, and export documentation to ensure full traceability
  • Identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery

 

What You Will Bring to the Table:

  • Proven experience in export operations, logistics, or cold storage environments
  • Strong leadership capability with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced setting
  • Solid understanding of export compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to balance hands-on operational involvement with leadership responsibilities
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business (highly regarded)
