Workplace Training Assessor

Primo Foods is seeking a Workplace Training Assessor to join our Human Resources team in Wacol supporting our afternoon shift from approximately 3:00pm to 11:00pm.

 

This role is responsible for delivering and assessing workplace training programs that support employee competency, safety, food safety compliance and professional development across operational teams. Working closely with leaders and employees, you'll coordinate training activities, maintain compliance records and help build a skilled and capable workforce.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective task-specific and site-based training and competency assessments across operational areas
  • Provide mentoring and on-the-job support to employees undertaking training programs
  • Identify training gaps in partnership with team leaders and implement targeted training solutions
  • Review, develop and update task descriptions and competency assessment materials
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and management to ensure training content remains relevant and effective
  • Maintain accurate training records, databases and Learning Management System (LMS) information
  • Deliver face-to-face inductions, refresher training and classroom-based learning sessions
  • Conduct on-the-job training for employees transitioning into new roles and responsibilities
  • Support and facilitate e-learning programs, including monitoring learner progress and accessibility
  • Assist with training compliance activities, audit preparation, documentation management and assessment tracking

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or a willingness to obtain this qualification
  • Previous experience delivering classroom-based and on-the-job training to diverse audiences
  • Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to LMS, HRMS or other training management systems
