JBS Australia's Yambinya Station is a 3600Ha mixed Pastoral Cropping enterprise incorporating a 10,000hd cattle and 35,000hd lamb natural grain (No Anti Biotic, No HGP, and No GMO) feedlot situated near Burraboi in Southern Western Riverina of NSW. We are currently looking for passionate Livestock Hands to join our Livestock Team, working a 10 on / 4 off roster.

NOTE: roster may vary depending on the season/weather conditions and changes are at the discretion of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Daily livestock handling including stock movements, trough/pen cleaning and maintenance, induction process, and incoming/outgoing stock movements
• Diagnosis of animal health symptoms
• Administration of animal health treatments including accurate record keeping
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia Policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, and Animal Welfare & Environmental Obligations

Criteria:

• Previous experience working with livestock
•  Preferred Good Working Dogs both cattle and lambs        ( Not Essential)
• Preferred Access to 3 Suitable Horses and Tack (Not Essential)
• Communication, organisational & interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to animal welfare, health and nutrition
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
• Ability & willingness to learn new skills
