About the Role

JBS Townsville is currently recruiting an experienced Production Storeperson to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Purchasing Officer and Plant Accountant, the Production Storeperson will play a crucial role in the successful operation of the plant. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge and skillset within stores and warehousing operations and procurement.

 

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Stock management including receiving, inventory control and replenishment duties
  • Developing effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Ad hoc stores related duties as required

 

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar stores or warehousing role
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment as well as the ability to work unsupervised
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed time management skills including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Sound computer literacy skills including MS Office
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills
  • Previous experience in a factory or process setting advantageous
  • Must be physically fit and have a reliable work history
  • Available to work over a 5-day roster
  • Forklift ticket desirable but not essential
