Night Wash Cleaner - Afternoon Shift

About the Role                  

The JBS Townsville Plant is seeking a reliable and experienced Night Wash Cleaner to join our Afternoon Shift team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Hygiene Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising production areas throughout the facility using open plant cleaning systems, hoses, hot water and chemicals to ensure all areas meet strict food safety, hygiene and quality standards.

In this role, you will follow safe work practices and correct chemical handling procedures while maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and professionalism. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting equipment, maintenance or safety issues, participating in mandatory training, and ensuring all hygiene, environmental and workplace safety requirements are met. Successful candidates will be dependable, safety-focused and committed to delivering quality outcomes in a fast-paced production environment.

• Full-time position; Monday to Friday
• 7.6-hour shifts; 4pm to 12.15am
• The starting rate for this role is $26.72 per hour + shift penalties

About You

• Previous experience with cleaning/hygiene within a food processing environment advantageous
• Ability to work to deadlines and time constraints
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work safely around hazardous chemicals and hot water
• Ability to work in hot, wet and dirty environment
