About the Role

Our Townsville Plant is currently recruiting an experienced Kill Floor Foreperson to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Kill Floor Supervisor, this role is an exceptional opportunity to join a local, community minded team with all the access to global training and resources.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, engaging, motivating, and supporting your team, including training, performance, conflict resolution and fostering a positive work environment
  • Supervising all aspects of the Kill Floor/Follow on and Offal Room
  • Ensuring compliance with all WH&S and Environmental regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance and MSQA programmes and processes
  • Ensuring revenue maximisation and cost control
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Ensuring timely and accurate record keeping and information/paperwork flow
  • Actively participating in workplace projects
  • Living by the JBS Values

 

About You

  • Previous leadership experience in a similar food manufacturing/processing environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to meeting all requirements in relation to food safety, people safety and maintenance and enhancement of brand integrity
  • High level of integrity and a professional work attitude
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Sound technical knowledge of meat processing including product flow and manning requirements
  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities
  • Highly developed time management skills including prioritising and multi-tasking
