Cattle are sourced from a wide supply area including the Northern Territory, north and north-western Queensland and packed into the AMH brand, the most trusted name in beef. The facility employs over 500 employees and processes approximately 900 head per day, operating 4 days/week.
About the Role
The JBS Townsville Plant are currently recruiting Meat Process Workers to join our production team in a full-time capacity.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Friday | 10-hour shifts | 4.30am-3.30pm or 8am-7pm
Please note: Shift start, and finish times will vary according to the position and department in which you are working.
About You
- Ability to conduct physical work
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
- Be comfortable working in a production environment (boning room or slaughter floor)
- Be comfortable handling raw meat and animal bi-products
- Willingness to learn and perform labouring duties such as trimming, packing, weighing, labelling, machine operating, manual handling and cleaning
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced, manual handling and labour-intensive environment
- Willing to undergo a Q Fever vaccination
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must have unrestricted Australian working rights
- Access to reliable transport to and from your allocated shifts
