Storeperson (Afternoon Shift)
About the Role
JBS Beef City is seeking a reliable and experienced Storeperson to join our afternoon / night shift team, supporting both the Plastic Stores and Maintenance Stores operations.
This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone with strong warehousing experience who takes pride in organisation, accuracy, and safety. You will play a key role in ensuring stock availability, correct storage, and efficient distribution to support site operations.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Forklift operations including loading, unloading and internal movements
- Receipting, picking and issuing stock
- Stock rotation and inventory control
- Conducting regular stocktakes and cycle counts
- Interpreting parts and maintenance requirements
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe store areas
- Supporting maintenance and production teams with timely supply of materials
- Adhering to site safety, food safety and quality standards
About You
- Current Forklift Licence
- Proven experience in warehousing or similar stores roles
- Experience with stocktake, stock rotation and inventory control
- Ability to interpret parts and maintenance stock highly regarded
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and available to work night shift
- Experienced with software such as SAP (or similar stock catalogue program) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Current license and access to reliable transport

The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in southern hemisphere. Specialising in grain-fed beef production, the plant employs approximately 950 employees with a current processing capacity of 1000 cattle per day and has a strong reputation for producing high quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers.
