Night Shift Cleaner

About the Role                  

JBS Beef City is currently seeking reliable and experienced cleaners to join our Night Shift team in a full-time capacity. We are looking for individuals to start at an entry level, with excellent opportunities for long-term career growth for the right candidates.

As a Night Shift Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all areas meet strict sanitation requirements before daily production begins, while consistently following safe work practices and correctly operating industrial cleaning equipment.

The starting rate for this role is $26.64 per hour + penalties where applicable.

About You

• Availability to work night shift; Monday to Friday; 10pm to 6am
• Experience within a manufacturing or food processing environment advantageous
• Ability to work with raw meat, specifically beef products
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible, motivated and eager to learn
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a physical assessment and a drug and alcohol test

Located 35km west of Toowoomba, the JBS Beef City Plant is part of the Beef City integrated feedlot, processing and farming facility. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in southern hemisphere. Specialising in grain-fed beef production, the plant employs approximately 900 employees with a current processing capacity of 1,100 cattle per day and has a strong reputation for producing high quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers.
