Beef City is one of JBS sites located at Toowoomba / Darling Downs area, based west of Toowoomba. Our site is currently recruiting for a HR & Recruitment Officer to join our Human Resources Team. The position is full time Monday to Friday, on day shift. The successful candidate must have flexibility to cover different shift hours, including short notice.
A fantastic opportunity currently exists for an experienced individual with enthusiasm, drive and commitment to join the Beef City HR team in the role of HR Officer. Reporting to the site HR Manager, the HR Officer’s key objective is to deliver a variety of components of the HR operations successfully for the plant .
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Daily data entry, compile reports and HR administration. Daily performance of HR tasks for the Plant including employee engagement, retention and recruitment activities.
- Daily consultation with the Training, Rehabilitation, WHS and Payroll departments on a range of issues.
- Supporting leaders to coach and mentor their team members, including written documentation and complete disciplinary action required.
- Management of the internal company HR Systems and KRONOS Time and Attendance System.
- Ensure adherence to Company manuals, policies & procedures, Government regulations and legislation
- Disciplinary Investigations.
- General clerical duties including filing, answering telephones, book interviews/medicals etc...
- Other duties as required/directed
About You:
- Demonstrated computer literacy in excel, word and outlook
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be collaborative and build relationships with various departments
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Excellent organisational and attention to detail skills and ability to learn and administer HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Highly developed time management skills including prioritising and multi-tasking.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on excellent listening and interaction skills / Good conflict resolution skills. Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must Have AU working rights
- Must have a valid driver's license
