An opening exists for an Export Wagyu Production Coordinator to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries!     

About your new role

This is an essential role based in Purrawunda QLD created to coordinate and manage production requirements for the Andrews Meat Wagyu program, including production planning, specification management, stock allocations and product reconciliation.

• Role is based at Beef City, Purrawunda QLD
• Onsite 3 days, WFH 2 days/week
• Second site: there will be some travel to Riverina where necessary
• Travel to Riverina plant would require travel on a Sunday to get there
• Other adhoc travel to Sydney (AMI office) and Melbourne

What are the role responsibilities?

This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

• Coordinate weekly production requirements
• Manage weekly production planning, stock allocations and order reconciliation
• Conduct carton and production reconciliation following production runs to ensure yields, outputs and allocations are correct
• Perform yield analysis and cutting tests with production facilities to support product optimisation
• Attend production facilities as required to verify products are processed and packed to agreed specifications and quality standards
• Investigate and follow up product claims, credits and production discrepancies
• Maintain accurate production planning and specification records

Who we are looking for?

What we need from you is:

• Someone who can offer flexibility with start times, as early as 5.30am starts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate production planning, allocation, reconciliation and reporting systems
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail
• Ability to interpret and manage detailed customer specifications, product requirements and production outcomes
• Understanding of meat production processes, yield management, carton reconciliation and export operations (highly regarded)
