Warehouse Forklift

Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

An opening exists for x2 Forklift Drivers to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

About the role:

We are seeking passionate and energetic individuals with forklift driving experience who are looking for a hands-on position.  

Work Hours:

Monday – Friday, Full time, permanent

x1 - 6am to 2pm.

x1 9am to 5pm.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Operating a forklift
• Can partake in manual handling work
• Pallet jack experience
• Stock replenishment
• Stock rotation
• Products sorting and grouping
• Weekly stocktake
• Warehouse hygiene upkeep

About you:

This opportunity would suit an experienced Forklift Driver looking for that next challenge. What we need from you:

• Holder of a current forklift licence
• Be able to work in a chiller room environment
• Be physically fit and strong and able to make repetitive movements and able to lift up to 20kg
• Excellent safety attitude
• Work-related referees that can be contacted to confirm your skills
• Previous experience within a warehousing environment
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
