Warehouse Forklift Driver

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Forklift driver to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Lidcombe site, and would suit someone who can exercise caution and a high standard of safety.

Work hours:

6.00am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Use a forklift to assist with and maintain effective operations in the warehouse
• Receiving goods in the yard area (meat, dry goods and chemical)
• Stack empty pallets away
• Sorting and grouping different types of pallets
• Stock management for dry goods area
• Daily maintenance of yard to ensure it is clean and tidy
• Co-ordinating AMI and CFS receiving in the yard
• Report any incidents appropriately

About you:

• Forklift driving experience with a current licence (A must - you will be required to bring this to interview)
• Keen eye for detail, especially when working to strict timelines
• Excellent communications skills
• Loves to work as part of a team and achieve shared goals
