About the Role:
We have an exciting, newly created position as a Social and Digital Marketing Lead to join our team in Chullora, Sydney. This role will manage and execute the digital strategy for the Primo brand, targeting both B2C and B2B segments, including our Primo Direct to Consumer Deli Store. The position involves creating content and extending campaigns across digital platforms to increase brand awareness, customer engagement and loyalty.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop and execute tailored digital marketing strategies to engage both consumer and food service professional audiences.
- Align digital initiatives with business objectives, ensuring a unified approach across both B2C and B2B segments.
- Build a clear longer-term content calendar across both consumer and food service social platforms that aligns with key marketing initiatives and seasonal events.
- Create, curate, and manage a wide variety of high-quality content formats across digital platforms (but not limited to) websites, social media, and direct newsletters.
- Ensure content is relevant, compelling, and consistent with brand values, tailored for both consumer and food service professionals and able to be tweaked and applied across multiple uses.
- Oversee and grow the brand's social media presence across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and industry-specific channels.
- Engage with both consumer and food service communities, responding to inquiries, sharing insights, and building relationships.
- Plan, implement, and monitor digital marketing campaigns for both consumer and B2B channels (e.g., paid media, promotions, influencer partnerships).
- Optimize website content for both consumer and B2B SEO to improve visibility and traffic.
- Ensure the website delivers an exceptional user experience, guiding both consumer and food service professionals to the information they need in Australia, NZ and Export markets.
- Track key performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) to refine strategies and ensure effectiveness.
- Oversee and manage paid media campaigns across social platforms.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email metrics to monitor campaign performance across both consumer and food service channels
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights, optimizing strategies for improved outcomes.
- Work closely with internal marketing & sales to ensure alignment of digital campaigns with broader brand initiatives.
- Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and influencers to create co-branded campaigns and build brand engagement.
About you:
- 6+ years’ experience in a similar role in a fast paced FMCG environment
- Degree in marketing, business, or commerce
- Hands on experience delivering local digital strategy, execution, content and measurement
- Display resilience and adaptability – work well under deadlines and pressure
- Innate curiosity & passion to delivery better work, with a perseverance & growth mindset
- Creative thinker that translates insights and ideas into action
- You will have strong engagement & collaboration style, with a strong ability to influence & communicate effectively with our customers & within the business.
