Skilled Meat Worker
Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.
We are currenlty recruiting for a Skilled Meat Worker to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

Key role responsibilities
This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:
- Large scale fresh meat handling
- Meeting production schedules and KPI’s/targets
- Cutting/trimming meat to customer specifications
- Working in cold environment
- Line set up
- Dismantling of equipment
- Maintaining high levels of hygiene
- Demonstrating good safety practices
- Other related activities as required by team lead

- Full work rights - essential (e.g. citizen, Permanent resident holder)
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Knife handling skills (advantageous)
- Relevant qualification (Cert 2/3 Meat processing) advantageous but not essential
- Experience in food manufacturing industry
Work Hours
4.00am to 12.00pm, 38hour full time permanent opportunity
