Primo are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the safe, efficient and cost‑effective operation of our Prestons Distribution Centre.

 

Reporting to the NSW Distribution Centre Manager, this role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely receiving, storage, picking and dispatch of finished goods while driving continuous improvement across safety, service and operational performance. You will lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced supply chain environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daytoday operation of the Receiving and Dispatch Dock and Freezer to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely picking and dispatch of customer orders in line with service requirements and timeframes
  • Liaise closely with Transport to manage supply flow, order prioritisation and labour allocation
  • Drive a strong safety culture by proactively identifying risks, managing hazards and ensuring WH&S compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and external regulatory requirements, including AQIS
  • Lead, coach and develop team members through training, performance management and crossskilling to achieve KPIs
  • Oversee forklift operations, including prestart checks, safe use and timely maintenance reporting
  • Manage operational costs while maintaining service and quality standards
  • Continuously review processes to identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and safety outcomes

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience managing operations within a distribution centre or similar environment
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and team development
  • Strong knowledge of systems, processes and continuous improvement practices
  • Sound working knowledge of AQIS requirements or similar regulatory compliance
  • Strong organisational, problemsolving and decisionmaking skills in a fastpaced environment
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF)
