Andrews Meat Industries Is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked), and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafés, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments Including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues. 

Andrews Meat is seeking a highly organised and professional individual to join our team as a full time Receptionist.

 

As the first point of contact for our meat processing site, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest services.

 

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills as well as attention to detail. Step into a role where you would become the expert in directing calls and responding to guest enquiries, as well as supporting the Commercial department.

 

Work hours: 7am – 3pm Monday to Friday

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Provide high-level administrative, clerical, and logistical support to the Head of Commercial, acting as their first point of contact. Key responsibilities include managing diaries, booking travel, handling correspondence, organizing meetings, and performing research, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Perform Customer Service tasks including answering overflow of calls, placing customer orders, scanning and printing as required, invoicing and third-party invoicing
  • Perform Sales Support tasks such as updating price files, credits and returns and assisting sales reps as needed with pricing etc.
  • Manage communication of staff movement and company directory updates
  • Receive, greet and sign in all visitors in a friendly and warm manner
  • Collect and distribute all incoming mail and courier items
  • Tidy and set up meeting rooms, organise catering for team lunches and visitors – daily checks and tidy ups, get coffee machine ready, restock uniforms / office supplies
  • Dish washer / kitchenette tidy up, replenish coffee and tea for shared areas
