Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

 

An opening exists for a Quality Assurance Assistant to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries, based in Lidcombe. This is an exciting opportunity to join the food industry, specialising in premium meat products for foodservice customers.

 

Work Hours
2.00am to 10.00am Monday to Friday

 

About your new role
A Quality Assurance Assistant will help to ensure that the quality of all products are maintained in accordance with product specifications and legal requirements. This role enforces HACCP, GMP and process parameters to ensure safe and quality products are processed.

What are the role responsibilities?
This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:
• Conduct pre-operational and operational hygiene checks
• Conduct checks on GMPs, HACCP and production processes to ensure safe and quality products are produced
• Assist production with quality matters
• Collect samples for testing procedures
• Assist in the investigation of customer complaints
• Participate in compliance, customer and internal audits
• Undertake other related activities as required
