QA Area Manager

An opening exists for a Quality Assurance Area Manager to join the team at Creative Food Solutions a division of Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

About your new role

The Quality Assurance Area Manager will ensure that the quality of all products are maintained in accordance with product specifications and legal requirements. This role enforces HACCP, GMP and process parameters to ensure safe and quality products are processed. The Creative Food Solutions division supplies cooked ready to eat meals to domestic and international markets.

What are the role responsibilities?

This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

• Responsible for the oversight and management of process monitoring within Cooked Food division
• Interpret, evaluate results and recognise trends
• Oversight of third-party platforms.
• Verification and validation activities
• Conduct regular internal audits
• Manage external audits and oversee any resulting corrective actions
• Undertake other related activities as required

Who we are looking for?

This opportunity would suit an experienced Communications Specialist. What we need from you is:

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the food industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
• Able to direct and lead stakeholders
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good organisational and time management skills

Desirable criteria:

• Industry experience in Food Safety and Quality Assurance practices
• Understanding of quality assurance principles and HACCP
• Internal auditor qualification
• Experience in export of food products
