Are you a hands‑on and solutions‑focused Product Developer ready to make a meaningful impact in food production?

At Primo Foods, you’ll play a key role in supporting product development, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement across our portfolio. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support EPD and product improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance
• Identify and implement cost‑reduction and process‑optimisation opportunities
• Analyse production processes, ingredients, machinery and yields to pinpoint improvements
• Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory and customer quality standards
• Provide technical R&D support across operations, supply chain, procurement and QA
• Troubleshoot product, process and quality issues and support root cause analysis
• Conduct trials in pilot and factory environments and track outcomes
• Research new ingredients, packaging and processing technologies
• Use data‑driven insights to support formulation improvements and scalability
• Manage timelines, deliverables and key milestones across simultaneous projects

About You

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in product development, R&D, QA or food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of HACCP, FSANZ, GMP and food safety principles
• Analytical thinker with experience running trials and solving production issues
• Excellent communicator with strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
