People and Performance Officer
Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.
Position Summary
Andrews Meat Industries, part of the JBS Group, is one of the largest food services providers in New South Wales. As a result of growth in the business we are seeking an additional People and Performance Officer. In this position you will support Andrews Meat Industries’ HR operations, with a primary focus on recruitment and HRIS maintenance.
This onsite role is based in Lidcombe and reports directly to the Head of People of Performance providing consistent support for HR functions and compliance. In this role you will provide direct support across the organisation from engaging with our senior leadership team to understanding the operational needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop sourcing strategies.
- Maintain job descriptions and recruitment documentation.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve hiring outcomes.
HRIS Maintenance & Data Integrity
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system (Success Factors – SAP).
- Generate reports and analytics to support HR decision-making.
- Participate in system upgrades and user training.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
General HR Support
- Support employee relations, performance management and training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and HRIS.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g. SAP Success Factors, ELMO, Workday).
- Strong understanding of recruitment practices, employment law and modern awards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
