People and Performance Business Partner
Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

We are seeking an experienced People & Performance Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in driving people strategy, workforce capability, and organisational performance.
Reporting to the Head of People & Performance, you will partner with operational leaders to provide strategic and hands-on HR support across workforce planning, employee and industrial relations, talent acquisition, performance management, engagement, and organisational development. This role is critical in supporting business growth, building leadership capability, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to align people initiatives with business objectives and operational outcomes.
- Provide coaching and support on performance management, employee relations, leadership development, and workforce planning.
- Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and compliance requirements.
- Support award interpretation for key stakeholders
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for key positions and support talent development and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
- Partner with operational teams to support workplace health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes.
- Use people data and insights to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
- 3+ years' experience in a HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
- Strong employee and industrial relations experience, including employment legislation and award interpretation.
- Experience working in a complex, fast-paced operational environment, ideally within manufacturing, food production, logistics, or a similar industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
