We are seeking an experienced People & Performance Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in driving people strategy, workforce capability, and organisational performance.

 

Reporting to the Head of People & Performance, you will partner with operational leaders to provide strategic and hands-on HR support across workforce planning, employee and industrial relations, talent acquisition, performance management, engagement, and organisational development. This role is critical in supporting business growth, building leadership capability, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to align people initiatives with business objectives and operational outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and support on performance management, employee relations, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and compliance requirements.
  • Support award interpretation for key stakeholders
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for key positions and support talent development and succession planning.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
  • Partner with operational teams to support workplace health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Use people data and insights to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

 

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • 3+ years' experience in a HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
  • Strong employee and industrial relations experience, including employment legislation and award interpretation.  
  • Experience working in a complex, fast-paced operational environment, ideally within manufacturing, food production, logistics, or a similar industry.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
