With a reputation built on quality, service, and operational excellence, we are seeking an experienced and proactive People and Performance Advisor to support our people objectives across our growing workforce.

Reporting to the Head of People and Performance, this role provides hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle and serves as a trusted advisor to leaders on people-related matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and partnering closely with operational stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Lead and Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Support recruitment activities, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration, including contract preparation, probation reviews, and employee changes.
  • Assist in the interpretation and application of employment legislation.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting through HRIS systems.
  • Participate in HR projects focused on culture, capability development, and continuous improvement.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related discipline OR equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer, or HR Business Partner role.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations practices.
  • Experience supporting blue-collar, manufacturing, logistics, food production, or FMCG workforces will be highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
