About the Role

Primo Foods have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to join the team in Chullora. This role is responsible for the day to day management of the designated portfolio with key customers within the guidelines set by the Customer Director.  

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and improve relationship with appropriate the Account Group
  • Day to day management of sales of portfolio/customer/account
  • Range new products – in line with company innovation funnel
  • Implement actions plans to drive sales with existing customer in line with account strategy set by the Customer Director
  • Build relationships with key contacts
  • Implement relevant marketing programs within budget and guidelines
  • Field representation – communication to deli specialists
  • Implement action plans to optimise mix, pricing and trading terms
  • Maintain and improve distribution efficiency
  • Assist the Customer Director to develop joint Business Plans aligning customer and business direction
  • Achieve sales budget by month
  • Active involvement and input in forecast process
  • Profitable trading term management
  • Manage trade spend with portfolio guidelines
  • Responsible for maintaining and setting up of all promotions within the system and managing claims with appropriate levels; within account by item

 

About you:

  • Proficient in delivering high quality customer & client service, providing customers with options and solutions
  • Ability to forecast future trends, evaluating market information and understanding of demand management
  • Financial management with the ability to analyse data in order to cut costs, and increase profitability
  • Strong selling skills
  • Strong negotiaton and influencing skills
  • Strong networking skills with a positive attitude, a ‘can do’ mindset to achieve outcomes
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to improve relationships with all major customers and distributors
  • Ability to effectively lead, manage and empower the teams with the emphasis on coaching/mentoring
