About the Role

We have an exciting opening for a National Account Manager to join our team in Chullora, Sydney. This role is responsible for the day to day management of Primo’s categories within National Metcash Deli and Meat as well as managing the State Metcash (NSW) relationships and activities combined with NSW MSO Groups.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and improve relationship with National Metcash (Deli & Meat) Trading Manager and Buying Assistants, as well as NSW State
  • Metcash office.
  • Responsible for development, implementation and review of Promotional Program, and other investment opportunities within Metcash
  • Deli/Meat and State Metcash (NSW)
  • Manage Campbell’s Cash & Carry National
  • Key responsibility to leverage Marketing, Product and Brand initiatives within the Customer’s business, in line with company innovation
  • funnel, and Customer Category Review timelines.
  • Coordinate and Conduct Category Review process, twice per year within the Category, in line with Customer timelines.
  • Implement Joint Business plans to drive sales aligned with Channel Strategy as defined by National Business Manager
  • Build relationships with key contacts internally & externally.
  • Contribute to Senior Management Business Review process.
  • Implement relevant marketing programs within budget and guidelines
  • Field representation – communication to State Operations Managers on key deliverables, activations & events.
  • Implement action plans to optimise pricing and trading terms
  • Assist the National Account Manager MSOs to develop joint Business Plans aligning customer and business direction for NSW MSO
  • Achieve agreed set sales budget
  • Some interstate travel will be required

 

About you:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role, fast paced FMCG environment
  • Metcash or Independent Retail experience highly regarded
  • National Account Management, experienced National Account Executive, or State Account Management experience
  • Proficient in delivering high quality customer & client service, providing customers with options and solutions
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to structure logical presentations and communicates your points clearly
  • Strong selling skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results· Excellent analytical skills that enable coordination of data, including MS-Office (proficient in Excel), IRI and or Nielsen
  • Strong networking skills with a positive attitude
