National Account Executive Woolworths

Primo Foods is seeking a driven and commercially savvy National Account Executive to support the Woolworths account.

 

Working closely with the National Account Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering day-to-day account management, executing strategic plans, and driving market growth. You’ll do this through data-led insights, strong customer relationships, and flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support the day-to-day management and execution of the Woolworths account, ensuring strong performance and customer engagement
  • Monitor daily sales, distribution, and trading activity across the portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with Woolworths contacts to enable smooth communication and issue resolution
  • Assist in implementing customer activity plans, including trading terms, pricing updates, and promotional programs
  • Contribute to monthly sales targets through accurate follow-up, execution, and reporting
  • Provide analytical and planning support, including promotional reviews, category insights, and supplier presentations
  • Support forecasting processes by validating data, identifying gaps, and highlighting risks
  • Assist with new product ranging, setup, and launch execution across the Woolworths network
  • Execute marketing and promotional programs in line with budgets and guidelines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, marketing, and category teams to ensure aligned delivery
  • Maintain strong operational processes including system accuracy, reporting, claims investigation, and promotional setup
  • Monitor stock flow and distribution, resolving issues and escalating risks where required
  • Support the broader National Account Team with coordination, preparation, and follow-up activities

 

About you

 

  • 3+ years’ experience in FMCG, ideally supporting national or state retail accounts (e.g. Woolworths)
  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or a related commercial field (preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and support pricing, promotions, and growth
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused, with solid Excel/Office capability and a collaborative mindset
