About the Role
Primo Foods are seeking a National Account Executive to support the team with continuing their position as an innovative leader and strategic partner of Aldi. This role assists the National Account Manager Aldi on key projects and tenders and will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all aspects of key projects are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement.
- Developing and maintaining project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones.
- Reporting project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels and escalate issues according to project work plan.
- Serving as point of communication between National Account, innovation, PLM teams. and internal resources
- Managing volume forecasts and maintain accuracy within Primo targeted levels
- Managing MLOR and customer transport related customer communication
- Deepening partnerships with internal/external partners.
- Maintaining and improving distribution share and efficiency with designated customer base.
- Assisting the National Account Manager to develop joint Business Plans & customer presentations
- Assisting IR/Aldi team Account Executive during annual leave and high workload periods
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Experience within the retail environment with understanding of sales processes and best practices
- Degree educated is preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Track record of business improvement initiaves through managing projects
- Excellent analytical skills that enable coordination of data, including MS-Office (primarily PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to act at both strategic and operational levels
