About the Role:

Primo Foods have an exciting opportunity based in Chullora for a Marketing Manager to work closely with GM – Marketing and the wider cross-functional team to continue to accelerate our growth in the ambient snacking space. 

 

This role will lead the entire brand mix and have ownership & delivery of ideation to commercialisation across the snacking portfolio. With communication and innovation as key parts of the growth strategy, you will also drive creative development, media strategy, packaging design along with customer strategy and engagement. 

 

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Work closely with the GM - Marketing to develop annual plans and longer-term planning for the ambient snacking business.  This role will be accountable for delivery of Primo growth & profitability across markets and channels
  • Collaborate with customer & category teams to deliver growth plans for our retail partners
  • Development of a 3-year pipeline of compelling consumer innovation for Ambient Snacking.
  • Interrogate data sources to unlock opportunity through deep understanding of consumer behaviour and needs
  • Champion consumer trends and insights across the marketing and sales functions.
  • Be the commercial lead for key innovation projects ensuring projects from ideation, through to launch and post launch
  • Develop compelling & distinctive communication for new innovation that leverages our Primo Master Brand big idea
  • Brief and manage end to end packaging design and delivery for all NPD
  • Define clear, sizeable and incremental market opportunities for growth
  • Budget management within target

 

About you:

  • 6+ years’ experience in a similar role in a fast paced FMCG environment
  • Degree in marketing, business, or commerce
  • Hands on experience delivering local marketing & innovation
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • People management experience. 
  • Creative thinker, strong project management & problems solving skills
  • Effective consumer communication - brief writing | media | creative
  • Good analytical skills that enable coordination of data, including MS-Office (primarily PowerPoint, and Excel) also Aztec and ideally a knowledge of Homescan and Quantium
