About the Role

Primo Foods are seeking a Commercial Finance Marketing Analyst to join the team in Chullora, Sydney and play a key role to partner with the Marketing team. This position is responsible for the preparation, analyzing and distribution of financial data and reports to the Marketing, Innovation and Sales teams.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop the financials for all upcoming primo innovation – with input from costing, R&D category and marketing
  • Provide financial analysis and insights in the stage gate process
  • Provide insights on NPD product performance and identify trends outside agreed budgeted targets, develop insights for future
  • Ensure all agreed weekly and monthly reports are prepared within agreed deadlines and in high quality standard.
  • Prepare, analyse and monitor all aspects of marketing and Co-Op campaign expenditure
  • Prepare all necessary reconciliations between various systems. Complete with high quality standard.
  • Prepare and co-ordinate innovation P&L plus forecast with high quality and by established deadlines.
  • Understand and drive production street P&L with intent to improve result
  • Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements and work with management to implement.
  • Partner marketing to drive and improve mix for the business through insights into action
  • Strictly apply and follow JBS/Primo accounting policies and procedures in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Utilise local software to report operational performance variances to established targets.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.

 

About you:

  • Bachelors degree (B.A or B.S.) in accounting from an accredited institution and 5 years relevant accounting experience.
  • CPA or study to complete CPA qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communicator with excellent listening and interaction skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Excellent analytical ability with skills that enable coordination of data, including MS-Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
