About the Role:

We’re seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Technician with refrigeration experience to support our NSW Distribution Centre’s in Greenacre and Prestons. This role monitors the day-to-day maintenance activities across the sites, working closely with the Maintenance Manager.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Monitor daily maintenance activities to ensure priorities are met.
• Completion of some planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.
• Ensure follow-up on jobs carried over from previous days.
• Manage allocated projects from implementation to completion.
• Ensure immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent work.
• Identify and propose equipment improvement opportunities.
• Provide information for Maintenance Manager reporting.

About you:

• Qualified tradesperson with extensive mechanical and/or electrical experience
• Refrigeration experience
• A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices.
• Experience gained from a large heavy industrial organisation.
• Good computer skills.
• Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem-solving capacity.
