About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Maintenance Purchasing Administrator to join our team in Chullora.  This role provides administrative process and purchasing support for the Maintenance & Engineering Team.  The Maintenance Purchasing Administrator is the first point of contact for vendor control of maintenance & engineering purchasing, spare parts and contracted works.

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Issue purchase orders and liaise with suppliers for delivery times of goods and services
  • Communicate with suppliers to manage ETA on stock and stores parts and provide updates on potential delays, escalating up the Chain of Command where necessary
  • Provide SAP planning assistance
  • Assist store persons with cycle counts and stock control
  • Extract operational data from SAP to provide metrics on Preventative Maintenance Work Order completion and maintenance availability
  • Assist in developing training documentation for the maintenance/engineering team - Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide administrative assistance for contractor Work Permits and Work Orders

 

About you:

  • Experience in MRP systems preferably SAP or similar
  • Works well in a team and autonomously
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think laterally and problem solve
  • Client-facing communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Skills that enable coordination of data
  • Experience with MS-Office (primarily PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
