Learning & Development Manager
At Primo, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead operational learning across our Chullora site and broader NSW operations.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll shape how learning is designed, delivered, and embedded across Production, Operations and Distribution. You’ll work closely with leaders and subject matter experts to ensure our workforce is skilled, compliant, and future‑ready — while fostering a strong culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of operational learning programs across Production, Operations, and Distribution
- Oversee onboarding, induction, and compliance training in line with WHS, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory requirements
- Manage and coach a team of Workplace Trainers and Assessors to drive high performance and capability uplift
- Partner with operational leaders to conduct learning needs analysis and develop skills matrices aligned to business needs
- Own and optimise learning systems, records, databases, and the LMS to ensure data integrity and audit readiness
- Manage operational learning calendars, refresh cycles, and training budgets effectively
- Support audits and compliance activities by providing accurate and well‑packaged learning data
- Act as a change agent, embedding continuous improvement and a strong learning mindset across the business
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Education, Learning & Development, HR, Business or a related discipline
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven leadership experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or a similarly complex operational environment
- Strong working knowledge of WHS, HACCP, GMP, and compliance‑driven training frameworks
- Confident communicator who can engage, influence, and build credibility at all levels
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and solutions‑focused with a genuine passion for developing people
