Learning & Development Coordinator
Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.
With a significant international presence, Andrews Meat Industries currently exports premium quality meat products to 25 destinations throughout Asia, North America, the Middle East and Europe.
An opening exists for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.
About the role:
This role will be responsible for managing the end to end requirements in the L&D space for our company. Based in Lidcombe on a permanent full-time basis, you will be able to support the growth, development and capabilities of the business.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Development of organisational capability and the availability of a skilled workforce with operational and legislative requirements.
- Administration of our LMS, ensuring compliance and record management requirements;
- Identifying and implementing internal and external training initiatives;
- Drive a strong training culture;
- Managing the onboarding of new employees;
- Identify improvements to assist team member capabilities with expanded training support.
- Look for learning and upskilling opportunities for staff, including recommending learning streams for positions.
- Administrate the updating of AMI’s inductions plans, handbooks and HR System maintenance;
- Manage L&D reporting requirements including Board Reports;
- Participate in audits and other ad hoc functions.
About you:
- Certificate 4 or above in Training and Education
- Min 2 years experience in an L&D role
- Excellent administration skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy in excel, word and outlook
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in training and assessing small to large groups
- Previous experience working in a food related or manufacturing industry advantageous
