About the Role
Primo Foods has an exciting opportunity for a HR Officer to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will oversee all HR functions, ensuring effective and efficient planning, coordination, and administration across a broad range of responsibilities to the Chullora, Greenacre and Preston’s Distribution Centers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of employment contracts and onboarding of team members.
- Coordination and oversee all aspects of both Onboarding and Orientation programs
- Be a key user for all HR systems, policies and processes
- Monitoring key HR Matrix to ensure it is being managed
- First point of contact for internal team member enquiries
- Administer documentation in relation to the team member life-cycle, e.g. training records; Probation reports
- Coordinate offboarding process i.e. carrying out exit interviews
- Lead the performance review process, providing guidance to managers on effective evaluation and development practices.
- Actively contribute to the planning and coordination of HR practices and strategies.
- Apply and manage discipline process when appropriate in accordance with Policies and legislative requirements
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced food environment
- Ideally Tertiary qualified in HR or similar
- Up to 2 years of Experience
- Working knowledge of employee relations legislation and environment
- Ability to use MS-Office (primarily PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Good judgment and problem solving ability and is capable of understanding the impact of decision making on the business
