About the Role

Primo Foods have an exciting opportunity for a HR Officer to join the team in Chullora on a permanent full-time basis. This role is responsible for providing support across the HR functions such as administration, performance monitoring and management, employee counselling, recruitment and HR reporting.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate the reward and recognition program for Primo Foods
  • Support the HR annual programs including KPI Setting, Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Talent Management and Succession Planning
  • Conduct investigation & performance improvement plans in line with JBS Process
  • Provide support for coaching to assist managers with decision making across team as required.
  • Support managers with an understanding of the impact from HR requirements.
  • Provide HR advice to managers to ensure that HR strategies and tactics align business objectives.
  • Develop and keep updated job requirements and/or job descriptions for all positions as appropriate.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records.
  • Ensure HR information systems, manual and electronic, are created and maintained as the primary source of employee information.
  • Support GM HR and other HR Managers to provide an integrated support network for the HR function and completing assigned “Group” tasks.

 

About you:

  • 2-5 years’ experience as an HR Officer
  • Ideally Tertiary Qualified in Human Resources Management or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to translate Strategic vision into Tactical and Operational plans that are fully implemented.
  • Strong communicator with excellent listening and interaction skills
  • Strong data skills, preferably Success Factors experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Approachable and enthusiastic
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player.
