General Hand - Night Shift

Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

About the role:

We are seeking passionate and energetic individuals who are looking for a hands-on position.

Work hours:

This is a permanent full-time opportunity. The shift time will be 9.00pm – 5.00am., Monday to Friday. 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

• Can partake in manual handling work
• Operating a manual pallet jack and rider
• Stock replenishment
• Stock rotation
• Products sorting and grouping
• Weekly stocktake
• Warehouse hygiene upkeep

About you:

This opportunity would suit an experienced Warehouse labourer looking for that next challenge. What we need from you:

• Be okay with early morning starts
• Have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the next 12 months
• Be able to work in a chiller room and occasionally freezer room environment
• Be physically fit and strong and able to make repetitive movements and able to lift up to 25kg
• Excellent safety attitude
• You have Work-related referees that can be contacted to confirm your skills
• Previous experience within a warehousing environment
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
