Forklift Driver (with Computer skills)

Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

About the role:

We have a great opportunity for someone to join our Warehouse team based in Lidcombe. This suits someone who is a motivated allrounder and enjoys working in a high volume and fast-moving environment. We are looking for someone who has forklift driving experience, as well as good computer skills. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Work hours:

9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Creating and printing bar codes for the stock.
• Ensuring all stock inbound and outbound has been scanned.
• Receiving stock into LOWELL.
• Putting away stock into the correct labelled shelves.
• Bringing to the attention of management any stock anomalies.
• Ad Hoc duties as requested.

About you:

• Forklift driving experience with a valid licence.

• Good level of computer literacy.
• Fast and accurate data entry.
• Motivated, analytical thinker, keen to contribute and refine current processes.
• Keen eye for detail, especially when working to strict timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Loves to work as part of a team and achieve shared goals.
