Export Supply Chain Manager

Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

An opening exists for an Export Supply Chain Manager to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry. 

In this role you will be responsible for providing frontline sales support as well as managing the administrative function of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse team
• Manage inventory systems
• Oversee coordination of shipments with suppliers and customers including road and sea freight
• Liaising with Abattoirs, Freight forwarders, transportation companies and cold stores
• Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities ie: tracking of Freight for AF, SF, RF.
• Oversee freight accrual process
• Manage customer queries, concerns and complaints
• Provide regular reporting
• Maintain all order tracking, costing and invoicing globally. (PI, COS, CI)
• Management of export documentation / inspection of paper work. (SI, BO, HC, AWB, COO, QUOTA COURIER & Other Shipping Documents)
• Data entry / Ad hoc duties as directed.

Criteria:

• At least 5 years’ experience FMCG Supply Chain or equivalent role.
• At least 5 years' experience managing diverse teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced skills in excel. 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. 
• Loves being proactive, takes ownership of the role and performs well with multiple tasks, and working within a small team.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen eye for detail
• Experience in Food Export (desirable)
• Experience with Export documentation / Shipping / Letters of credit (desirable)
