Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

About the role:

We currently have two full-time Dispatch Officer positions available. These roles have been created to streamline the dispatch process and address key challenges across our packing and transport teams.

We have a fleet of 35+ trucks leaving our production site around mid-morning every day to deliver just in time goods to our valued foodservice customers.

 

Shift Times:

  • 4am - 12pm

  • 7am - 3pm

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide full support in packing area to ensure deliveries go out promptly
  • Escalate gaps in dispatch delays and adhere to dispatch schedules
  • Ensure dispatched goods meet all requirements including quality, timeframes and labelling
  • Organising and preparing pallets for drivers to load into trucks
  • Assist with picking and packing when required
  • Other Ad Hoc duties as required

About you:

  • Aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • WHS Safety knowledge
  • Physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work in cold environments.
