About the role
Step into the role of Community Coordinator where you’ll provide hands on support and pastoral care to our Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) team members. You'll provide direct, hands-on support and pastoral care to team members, assisting with both their transition into the community and their journey toward greater independence.
Based in Chullora, Sydney, you’ll champion wellbeing, drive process improvements and ensure strong compliance with the PALM Deed and Guidelines.
What you’ll do:
- Provide end to end, hands on support and pastoral care to new employees across a range of activities including new arrival activities such as Accommodation, Transport, Shopping, Banking & Communications
- Provide end to end support with demobilisation for team members exiting the business
- Carry out welfare check ins with PALM employees and respond with appropriate support
Maintain accurate data records for immigration & finance - Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders
You’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a similar community or pastoral care role.
- Practical knowledge of offshore recruitment and workforce mobility (both in-country and domestic).
- Strong planning, time management, and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
