Cleaner - Food Processing

Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

We’re a sous vide food specialist supplying to the food service sector and supermarket chains.  We are currently recruiting for a cleaner to join the team at Lidcombe NSW in our Cooked Foods Division.

Work Hours

6.00am to 2.00pm

Permanent full-time

Role responsibilities?

This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

• General washing up of trays and pots.
• Operating a crate washing machine.
• General cleaning duties in assembly when needed.
• Rubbish collection from bins from around the facility.
• Cleaning of floors and bathrooms in the admin area of the facility.

Who we are looking for?

• Someone who can demonstrate initiative
• Self-starter
• Basic Literacy Skills
• Experience within manufacturing or food processing (desirable)
• Ability to perform manual handling activities over prolonged periods of time
