Category Manager
At Primo, the Category Managers sits at the centre of commercial decision-making—connecting Sales, Marketing, and our retail partners to drive category growth and deliver meaningful results.
This role will see you take ownership of emerging and high-growth categories, translating innovation into impactful, customer-facing plans. You’ll use data and insights to shape strategy, build compelling selling stories and influence outcomes with key stakeholders—both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute insight-led category strategies aligned with business objectives
- Translate innovation pipelines into compelling customer plans and selling stories
- Analyse market trends, shopper behaviour, and sales/data insights to inform decisions
- Lead retailer category reviews and deliver impactful presentations
- Optimise assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximise performance
- Act as a key link between Sales and Marketing to align priorities and execution
- Partner closely with retail customers to drive category growth and strengthen relationships
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the category
- Contribute to forecasting and demand planning inputs
About You
- 3–5+ years’ experience in FMCG across Category, Sales, or Marketing
- Strong analytical capability with experience using market and shopper data
- Commercial mindset with exposure to pricing and promotional strategy
- Confident presenter with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
- Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working cross-functionally
- Curious, proactive, and driven to deliver results
