About the Role:
The Area Manager will Drive profitable volume and product range within existing customer base, acquire new  distribution partners, and pursue new  business opportunities in new and existing markets.  This role is also the primary contact point for existing customers. In addition, the identification, discovery and securing of new business opportunities across your territory of Sydney CBD and Innter City areas will be primary to the role.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for the promotion of the Company’s products and professional image
  • Selling the whole product portfolio
  • Service existing customers via planned territory call frequency.
  • Identification , discovery and securing new business across the state and all territories
  • Manage business critical seasonal programs
  • Drive business growth through all key trading partners ( corporate and indepenant distributors and whoelsalers )
  • Achieve new business targets across all channels.
  • Execute the agreed Planned Call in every outlet/customer
  • Communicate with and provide information to Sales, Marketing, R&D, supply chain and Customer Service.
  • All customer complaints to be responded to and action plan developed immediately
  • Able to demonstrate and deliver our product via our CRM platform


About you:

  • Good understanding of working with wholesalers
  • Experience in sales and marketing or related function with understanding of sales processes and best practices
  • Degree educated or relevant sales experience
  • Able to deliver results through collaboration and influencing
  • Strong negotiation and  communication skills with an emphasis on excellent listening and interaction skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Track record of business improvement initiaves
  • Able to deliver results through collaboration and influencing
  • A proven track record of successful sales achievement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and exceptional communication skills of all forms : written, verbal, listening
