Harvest Floor Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Harvest Floor Supervisor to join our team at our Scone Plant. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the harvest Floor, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities (But not limited to):

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of harvest floor employees/staff
• Ensure compliance with the Health and safety regulations
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
• Train and mentor staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to production.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise overall plant operations.
• Liaise with Quality Assurance Officers to ensure Harvest Floor meets food safety standards.
• Display an understanding and be able to enforce the requirements for each of the SOP’s that are relevant to this department e.g. EU, Halal, SA, FRL, BSE etc

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the meat processing industry
• Strong knowledge of kill floor operations and safety standards
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Intermediate computer skills
