Located in the Beef Capital of Australia, the JBS Rockhampton Plant produces a range of pasture fed and grain fed beef products. Our verified organic grass-fed beef brands, Acres Organic and Right to Roam, are both packed exclusively at Rockhampton. The plant employs approximately 560 team members with a processing capacity of 700 head of cattle per day, operating 6 days per week.

About the Role

JBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting a reliable and organised Storeperson to join our team in a full-time role. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining accurate stock control and supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your work will help ensure timely delivery of materials to operational areas and contribute to overall efficiency.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Receive, inspect and record all incoming goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stocktakes
• Safely and efficiently organise and store materials
• Prepare and pack orders for dispatch according to schedules
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries
• Complete required documentation and comply with transport regulations
• Follow workplace health and safety standards
• Handle and store hazardous materials appropriately

About You

• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Competent using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Problem-solving ability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• Forklift License highly regarded
