Located in the Beef Capital of Australia, the JBS Rockhampton processing facility produces a range of pasture fed and grain fed beef products, from commodity to premium. Our organic beef brand, Acres Organic and Right to Roam, our verified grass-fed beef brand are both packed exclusively at Rockhampton. The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a current processing capacity of 700 head of beef cattle per day, operating 6 days/week.

About the Role

JBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting a passionate Production Control Recoveries Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, the Production Control Recoveries Officer plays a vital support role to the Plant, providing various yield reports and analysis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Focussing on production yields including:

• Preparation of daily yield reports;
• Yield testing and opportunities;
• Daily yield results analysis, summary and feedback to departments;
• Daily real time report summary (at major breaks) for both departments;
• Daily piece reconciliation (both departments); and
• Conducting weekly yield meetings with relevant team members.

• New product documentation and implementation
• Liaising with onsite customer sales
• Undertaking internal auditing processes
• Monitoring of product specifications
• Daily communication with the Northern Corporate Yield Manager
• Ad hoc reports as required by the Leadership team

About You

• Excellent communication skills
• Sound computer skills (MS Office)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience within a similar plant operational department advantageous
